Vendor Creation Setup and Configuration

Before creating Vendors, administrators must set up the appropriate configurations. The following is the basic life cycle of the Vendor Creation Process, particularly the setup and configuration:

• The following Transaction Codes must be set up for the Vendor Creation Process:
  • Vendor Category
  • Vendor Performance
• The listed switches configure some of the features that affect Vendor management. For more information, refer to the following switches:
  • PNVENDPOPREF
  • VATVALIDATE
  • PNVENDROPREF
  • VNDPRCTCATOF

Note: Other Switches that affect Vendor Creations will be mentioned throughout this process. For more information on all switches, refer to the Settings Switches Manual.

Once all of these configurations have been set up, users can begin Vendor Creation.
