The Task Card (sometimes referred to as Job Card) displays the instructions to carry out work on an aircraft or components. These instructions can include additional information such as material pre-loads, skills and manuals required to carry out the job.
There are four ways in which a Task Card is complied with:
- An ad hoc of manual Task Card can be loaded to a Work Order or Unscheduled Work.
- As part of a work package of check package.
- As part a conditional Card as a consequence of predefined limits of findings.
- As part of an E/C, whereby a single card has a specified interval an can be added to a Work Order and all effective, authorized Task Cards will follow.
