The Change P/N Control button allows the user to change the Control type.

From the P/N Control window, select the Change P/N Control button.

The P/N Control Change pop-up appears:

Note the name of the Control.

In the 'New' field, change the Control type using the drop down menu. Select the Save button. The Save prompt will appear. Select 'OK'.

The Control type has been changed, as shown below:

Additional Functionality:

When the P/N Control is changed via the Change P/N Control button, the Audit tab will display the previous P/N Control.

For example, if the P/N Control is changed, the Audit tab will display the old control.
