Part Number Installation

Once a serialized part has been issued from Inventory, it can then be installed onto an aircraft. A part can be installed onto an aircraft either due to a defect or a Work Order. In either case, the defect or Work Order information must be entered before the system will allow the user to move forward with the install only transaction. The following outlines the basic steps in installing a Part Number onto an aircraft.
