Skill Creation

The areas that use skills are Task Cards, Work Orders, and Training. This option will allow the user to set up all of the Skills that will be used in the system, for Task Cards and for work. The skill codes are set up with their cost and sell rates that are used to calculate actual costs of Work Orders performed on the system. These codes may be standard within the company, or may be industry recognized codes.

The following is the basic life cycle of the Employee and Skill Creation Process, particularly the Skills feature:

Once the Skills have been created, they can be associated to Employee records through the Skills button during the Employee Creation.
