The Materials Flow Throughout the System
Several modules interact to form the basic materials flow throughout the system. A simple outline of the steps involved in this interaction are as follows:
Requisition module - Create requisition (and perform any requisition authorization).
- Requisition module - Enter Quote information (received from the vendor).
- Orders module - Create an Order for the part (for example, a Purchase Order).
- Receiving module - Receive the part (and perform any required Receiving Inspections).
- Inventory module - Use the Inventory Transaction option to manage the part.
