Import Button, via Defect Report

TRAX MANUALS > Technical Records > Technical Records Module > Technical Records, Update Menu > Defect Report > Defect Report Buttons > Import Button, via Defect Report

From the Defect Report window, select the Import button for the quick import of many records (instead of manually entering them) into the Defect Report window.

Once the file has been prepared, go to Technical Records/ Update/ Defect Report.

For information regarding how to prepare the import file, refer to Preparing File For Import, via the Import Button of the System Standards Training Manual.

The records appearing in the text file will appear in the Data Import tab of the window.

Note: Existing Defect Reports can be updated and modified using using the defect upload template. When this occurs, the Modified By and Modified Date are updated in the Defect Report Detail, Informational Tab.
