A/C Controller Panel Lights

The A/C Controller Panel contains colored “lights” icons. The lights are used to quickly determine the status of Defects and Work Orders. The Maintenance Controller will be able to instantly see which aircraft requires immediate attention and which needs to have further data collected and recorded in order to close out the Defect. When these icons are selected, the A/C Out of Service window pops up. For more information refer to the A/C In/Out Service Button, via Defect Reports in the Technical Records Training Manual.

Note: A/C which are placed in Out of Service status will roll to the top of the A/C Controller Panel.

Yellow AC_Contoller_Panel_Yellow_Light

Flashing Red AC_Contoller_Panel_Red_Light

If the aircraft is due to be in service (Estimated In Service) within the next 5 minutes, this flashing red light will appear.
