The Namespace Declaration option allows users to add and remove a Namespace for any of the items located in the XML Tree View Panel.

Add Namespace Declaration:

Select the element you would like to add a Namespace Declaration.

Select the Add Namespace Declaration button.

TRAX displays the Add Namespace Declaration pop-up window. Populate the below fields and select 'Done.'

Note: If the Namespace and/or Namespace URI entered are invalid a 'DOM Exception' information pop-up will appear.

The Namespace and Namespace URI are saved as shown below:

Remove Namespace Declaration:

Select the element to have a Namespace Declaration removed.

Select the Remove Namespace Declaration button.

TRAX displays the Remove Namespace Declaration pop-up window. Populate the below fields and select 'Done.'

The Namespace and Namespace URI have been removed as shown below:
