Select the Copy option to copy either a selected element along with its child (Copy Deep) or copy the element by itself (Copy Shallow).
Copy Deep:
Select the element to be copied:
Select the Copy Deep option.
Select the area where the element and its child are to be copied. Select the Paste 
button.
The Paste button becomes activated once the Copy function is selected.
The element along with its child has been copied and pasted as shown below:
Copy Shallow:
Select the element to be copied:
Select the Copy Shallow option.
Select the area where the element is to be copied. Select the Paste button.
The element has been copied and pasted as shown below:
