Pre Receiving

The Pre Receiving program allows the usuer to enter in the physical receipt of an order by location. This gives the user the option to enter the arrival of an order shipment by location before associating it to Order Receiving. This option allows the user to view part(s) that are physically in stores, but not yet received into the system.

The following is the basic life cycle of the Receiving Process, particularly the Pre Receiving:

Once an Order has gone through this basic life cycle, the user is ready to move on to Order Receiving.
