P/N Software Configuration Query

The P/N Software Configuration Query allows users to view the software infrastructure of any aircraft (typically Boeing 787s). Users enter search criteria at the top of the window, and the results are displayed in the table to the bottom.

Note: Actual records cannot be edited from the Query window. For detailed information on how to create and manage Software Configurations, refer to the P/N Software Configuration window.

Search Section

The following information/options are available in this window:

A/C Type

The entire Aircraft Type.

A/C Series

The entire Aircraft Series.

Equipment Reference Designator

The aircraft position ERD (Equipment Reference Designator) reference. This is the physical position on the aircraft where the hardware part is installed.

Software Location ID

The Software Location Identification (SLID) code. The SLID is where the software for the part is loaded onto the hardware part's ERD location. One ERD may have multiple SLIDs as a hardware part may have multiple software components.

P/N

The software part that is installed on the aircraft for the hardware part.

P/N Software

The Part Number used on this configuration.
