The Preview button allows the user to view the Preview tab in the TraxDoc TR Explorer window.

From the TraxDoc Explorer window, select the Preview button:

The Preview tab is now visible. Notice how once the Preview tab becomes visible, the Preview button remains selected (grayed out).

Select any items from the Current Data panel and select the Preview tab.
