11.5 - Engineering Buttons

Copy E/C Compliance Button, via Engineering Compliance

Functionality added to this button: The Effective Date and Completed Number of the Compliance can also be copied from the Contributor E/C to the Recipient E/C through the Update Effective Date & Completed Number checkbox.

Note: When the contributor E/C's Effective Date is greater than the recipient with a Completed NO of zero, the Effective Date will update accordingly. However, this will only change the Effective Date for the effective aircraft and not the Schedule tab of the E/C.

New Express Button, via Engineering Control

Allows the user to create an Engineering Control and their associated Task Card(s) concurrently. The New Express feature combines much of the functionality of the Engineering Control and the Task Card into one window, the Engineering Task Card Express. Utilizing this creates both an Engineering Control and a Task Card, with the same name and effectivity, along with associating the Task Card to the Engineering Control.

Task Card Control Button, via Engineering Control

Applicable A/C: When Production Switch ADDECNOT is set to No, even if the Task Card linked to the E/C has Aircraft effectivity to the Work Order's Aircraft but this 'Applicable A/C' field is not the same as the W/O's Aircraft, then the Task Card will not be added to the Work Order when the E/C is linked. The E/C Task Card's 'Applicable A/C' field will override the Task Card's aircraft effectivity when the Task Card is linked to a Work Order through this E/C linkage.
