SYSTEM STANDARDS

There are certain standards that apply throughout the TRAX Maintenance and Engineering system. These standards should be known by all persons who will use the system.

It is recommended to view an available Update menu to learn the standards (i.e. Settings/Update/P/N).

This manual should be provided as a reference guide for all new TRAX Maintenance and Engineering System users.

About The TRAX Windows

TRAX is a (MDI) Multi-Document-Interface application. This means that it is possible to open more than one window at once. For example, users may run a part inquiry and want to look at an order. This is possible without closing the part inquiry.

Users may click on the TILING buttons on the screen, or select from the Window menu. Depending on the selection, users can see all of the windows that are currently available. Users may also switch between open windows by selecting the open window from the Window menu.

Windows can be resized, minimized and moved around in much the same way as other Windows applications such as word processors and spreadsheets.
