Defect Area, via Dent Mapping

The Defect Area will display all open defects for the aircraft that the user is currently working with. Only open defects will be displayed. The Defect Area also displays the number of defects open for the specified aircraft.

The user may associate a defect type to a color code. In the below example, the PILOT defect type is color coded in pink and the CABIN defect type is color coded in turquoise. Color coding can be set up via the Defect Type Transaction Code via the Technical Records Transaction Code Manual.

Only mapped defects will appear with their designated color codes in the Defect Area.
