11 - Orders Buttons

Audit Button

The Audit Button allows the user to view changes made to a record. This includes the Date the change was made, by whom the change was made and what the changes are. The tree-like view allows the user to expand and collapse each record per transaction.

Expand/Collapse Buttons

The user may select the Expand but_expand button to view all line items associated to an order via the Orders Navigator.

History Button

The History but_history_small button allows the user to view the historical data, including all orders that the part has ever been associated to, on the selected part.

Loan/Exchg Button, via Loan Order Header

The following functionality was added to this button: A completed Load Order cannot be converted to an Exchange Order. When this button is selected in this instance, a warning prevents users from continuing. The error reads: 'Loan Order may not be converted to Exchange Order because loan P/N has been returned.'

Orders Supervisor Windows

If one user attempts to edit a Repair Order record that is currently being edited/viewed by another user, a warning appears that will prevent the second user from editing the same Order. The Unlock button in the Repair Order Header, Informational tab allows the user to access and update the Order in the event that the record has been locked in error.

This button, for the Repair Order, is security-controlled via Orders/ Update/ Repair Order Unlock. For more information refer to the Security Explorer.

Supervisor Button

The Supervisor button allows the user to view and access all open orders in the system. This allows the user to create order details via the Orders navigator. Without the supervisor view, users can only see order types they have security access to.
