Concession Creation

A Concession will increase the schedule limitation for a specific item, as per company and Aviation Authority requirements (i.e. a concession is a granted extension of utilization). This option will allow the user to enter concessions for Engineering Controls, P/N Controls, and Defects. Where a Concession is applied to a repetitive inspection, once the inspection has been carried out, the Concession limitation will be removed (subtracted) from the next occurrence of the inspection.

After the Concession Registry has been conducted, it can be utilized in the Engineering Control Process, the P/N Control - General Configuration, or the Defect Report Process, as needed depending on the Concession Category.
