Set a Buffer to Calculate the W/O Auto Schedule Start Time After Flight Arrivals
Affected Window: w_wo_auto_schedule
Note: Planning switch  OVNTACMS must be set to No for switch WOSCHBUFFER to work as expected.
Set Up:
The following E/C has been created.
The Daily checkbox as well as the Auto Reschedule checkbox has been selected.
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, when an Auto Scheduled W/O is created, the International and Domestic fields will be used as a buffer (in minutes) to calculate W/O schedule start time after the flight arrival.
Note: If there is no Overnight Station set up in the A/C Master for the aircraft linked to the W/O, the system will grab the Location entered in the Config Other field.
Note: The Config Number field is used to specify how many days ahead the daily auto scheduling job will re-schedule the auto rescheduled E/Cs on a W/O. The system will default to 1 day.
Scenario 1: Domestic Flight
The following flights are scheduled from MIA to ATL and back. The flight arrives back in MIA on 09/16/2016 at 5:00am.
The following Work Order is created for A/C A902.
The Daily E/C is attached to the above Work Order.
The Task Card for the Work Order is closed.
The Daily E/C has been reset to 'Has Been Reset'.
A new Work Order was auto-created with a Start Time of 09/16/2016 at 5:45am which is 45 minutes after the landing time of 5:00am.
Scenario 2: International Flight
The International checkbox is selected for location SJO to designate this location as international.
The following flights are scheduled from ATL to SJO and back. The flight arrives back in ATL on 09/18/2016 at 10:00am.
The following Work Order is created for A/C A902.
The Daily E/C is attached to the above Work Order.
The Task Card for the Work Order is closed.
A new Work Order was auto-created with a Start Time of 09/18/2016 at11:10am which is 70 minutes after the landing time of 10:00am.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, when an Auto Scheduled W/O is created, the W/O Schedule start time will begin upon the flight arrival time.
The following Work Order is created for A/C A902.
The Daily E/C is attached to the above Work Order.
The Task Card for the Work Order is closed.
When set to No, when an Auto Scheduled W/O is created, the W/O Schedule Start Time will begin upon the flight arrival time of 10:00am.
