A/C Import/Export Button, via A/C Registration Change/Hold/Release

This function has been removed from the application and is now available through a customized program. For additional information, contact your TRAX Administrator.

The A/C Import/Export button is used to transfer an aircraft between organizations that use the TRAX Maintenance and Engineering Software.

This function can also be used when an aircraft is sold. In this case the A/C Records are exported to .trax files (12 files total) and the aircraft and its records are removed from the TRAX System.

The .trax files can then be used by an organization purchasing the aircraft to load the A/C Records into their TRAX System.

The following files are used to export/import an aircraft's information from one operator's TRAX System to another's.

1. AC_information.trax contains the A/C Master information to be imported.
2. installed_pn.trax contains the installed component for the aircraft to be imported.
3. pn_control.trax contains the installed components P/N Control schedules.
4. pn_eff_dis_trax contains the P/N A/C Effectivity to the tail number.
5. pn_eff_hed.trax contains the P/N A/C Type/Series Effectivity.
6. pn_int_one.trax contains the P/N One Way Interchangeability.
7. pn_interch.trax contains the P/N Both Way Interchangeability.
8. pn_master.trax contains the P/N for the P/N Master for Main part numbers, NLA part numbers and all Interchangeable part numbers.
9. pn_nha_nla.trax contains the all NLA part numbers for the NHA part number.
10. pn_pos_dis.trax contains the A/C position for installation to the tail number.
11. pn_pos_hed.trax contains the A/C Type/ Series position for A/C installation.
12. pn_vendor.trax contains the P/N Vendor/ Manufacturer for the Main, Interchangeable and NLA part numbers.

Note: Engineering Records and Defect Reports are not exported/imported from one operator's TRAX System to another's.
