Additional Security Layers in TRAX

The application has a feature that allows for multiple users to share the same log-in ID on the system.

Primarily, the purpose of shared log-in passwords are for the ‘common workstation’ concept. This is where a PC may be located in a warehouse or hangar environment and many people will have access to use that PC. The application can be ‘logged in’ with a common User ID, thus preventing the need for all users to ‘log-in’ and ‘log-out’ continuously in order to use the system and also to retain the traceability of ‘who did what’ particular transaction.

There are only a number of limited transactions that can be used with this ‘Wall Security’ feature (the main reason being commercial – as Trax USA Corp. sells licenses by the number of User IDs).

Employees must be set up on the system prior to being able to use the Wall Security feature (as all USER ID data on transaction history is replaced with the EMPLOYEE reference from the Employee Master).

The following topics show examples of how this is set-up and activated within the system and the transactions that can use this feature.
