Functionality

A/C Control Button

• A/C Control - COMPANYMULTI: Depending on the Company entered in the E/C Company field, only those aircraft with the same G/L Company (via the A/C Master, Other 1 tab) will appear in the Engineering Control Effectivity window.

  Note: This is part of the Multi-Company functionality. The Company field of the E/C window only appears when G/L Interface switch COMPANYMULTI is set to 'Yes'.

Allowed Locations Helper Button

• When the Allowed Locations Helper button is selected, only those locations that are 'Allowed Maintenance Locations' will be displayed in the drop down selection.

  Note: The Allowed Locations Helper button will not be visible if switch LOCSITEHIDE is set to No.

Assign E/C Effectivity By Range Button

• A/C Type: This information is pulled from the A/C Master, General tab, via the A/C Master.
• Source: The way that the range was imported/created. This field is updated automatically. The available options are E/C, IPC, and MAN (Manual). The Source is 'MAN' when any part of the range was entered or altered manually.

Assign Warranty Effective By Range Button

• A/C Type: This information is pulled from the A/C Master, General tab, via the A/C Master.
• Source: The way that the range was imported/created. This field is updated automatically. The available options are E/C, IPC, and MAN (Manual). The Source is 'MAN' when any part of the range was entered or altered manually.

Copy Ranges Button

• The user can choose to copy the serial number ranges with status and reason information included from a P/N attached to the same E/C.

  Note: The Copy Ranges button will not be visible in the Engineering Control Range window when switch ADDSTENGRANGE is set to No.

Individual A/C Selection Button, via Assign E/C Effectivity By Range Button

• The Individual A/C Selection button allows the selection and creation of multiple individual range records using cross reference information for every serialized A/C. This button is also available for the Assign Warranty Effectivity By Range functionality and works the same way.

  Note: The Individual A/C Selection button will not be visible in the Engineering Control Range window if switch RANGEHELPER is set to No.

Individual A/C Selection Button, via Task Card Range Button

• The Individual A/C Selection button allows the selection and creation of multiple individual range records using cross reference information for every serialized A/C.
