Assembly Setup and Configuration

Before creating Assemblies, administrators must set up the security and revision configurations.

The following is the basic life cycle of the Assembly Management, particularly the setup and configuration:

• The listed switches configure some of the most broad features that affect Assembly Management. For more information, refer to the following switches:
  • ACCKNLAEFF
  • AUTOSHPNLA
  • CHKPNMOD
  • NLAASSERV
  • NLACTRLS
  • NLAINTRMVB
  • NLA/LOC
  • NLA_PARTS_EFFECTIVE
  • NLAPERF
  • NLABDSN
  • PN_NHA_EFF
  • WOPKLNLA
• The following Transaction Codes in particular must be set up for the Assembly Management:
  • Condition
  • NLA Position
