The Defect Report, History tab is the repository for archived directions from the Recommendation tab. Those items archived from the Recommendations tab will have an Archived By/Date; History items added within this tab only have a Created By/Date and a Modified By/Date.

Note: The History tab is custom customer functionality.

The following information/options are available in this window:

New History button

Select this button to add an additional History item.

History number

The next sequential number in a list of history items.

History Description

The detail about an action taken to resolve a defect that a mechanic wishes to maintain record of.

Created By/Date

The user who created the history/archived recommendation and the date/time composed.

Modified By/Date

The user who changed the history/archived recommendation and the date/time altered.

Archived By/Date

The user who archived the recommendation and the date/time saved from the Recommendation tab.

Delete History button

Select this button to delete an items recommendation history.

Note: This field is security controlled via Technical Records/Update/Defect Report/ Defect Report Delete button. For more information, refer to the Security Explorer via the System Administration Training Manual.

Images button

Select this button to open the Image Control window.

Notes button

Select this button to open the Note Pad window.
