The Defect Report, Recommendation tab is used to communicate with mechanics how the repair of a defect is to be accomplished.

Note: The Recommendation tab is custom customer functionality.

The following information/options are available in this window:

New Recommendation button

Select this button to add an additional recommendation field.

Recommendation Number

The next sequential number in a list of recommended actions.

Recommendation Description

The suggested action for a mechanic to resolve the Open Defect.

Created by/Date

The user who created the recommendation and the date/time composed.

Modified By/Date

The user who modified the recommendation and the date/time changed.

Delete Recommendation button

Select this button to delete a recommendation field.

Images button

Select this button to open the Image Control window.

Notes button

Select this button to open the Note Pad window.

Archive button

Select this button to save individual recommendations to the History tab.
