11 - Engineering Buttons

A/C CTL Button

A/C CTL button allows users to set A/C Effectivity for the E/C. Effectivity can be set for the aircraft by aircraft type/series, in addition to being overridden individually down to a specific A/C tail number.

Note: In TRAX 11 users can select A/C Type-Series as well as individual Aircraft for effectivity. In previous versions, effectivity for specific aircraft of a fleet can only be overridden by selecting the Override but_override_small button. For more information refer to the A/C Control Button, via Engineering Control of the Engineering - E/C Training Manual.

Audit Button

The Audit button allows the user to view changes made to a record. This includes the Date the change was made, by whom the change was made and what the changes are. The tree-like view allows the user to expand and collapse each record per transaction.

Compliance Button, via Engineering Control Buttons

The Engineering Compliance window has been updated and is now organized by A/C Compliance and A/C, P/N Compliance and P/N. This is useful for more efficient data gathering. This is a view only window and the information in this window cannot be edited or updated in this window.

Effectivity Audit Button

Select the Effectivity Audit but_audit_sm button to view an audit trail of all Aircraft Effectivity changes made to the currently selected E/C. The information provided in this audit includes the Date the effectivity changes were made, the user who made the changes, and details of what the changes to the effectivity were. The tree-like view allows the user to expand and collapse each record per transaction in order to make before/after comparisons.

Effectivity Button [11], via Task Card Buttons

The layout and functionality of this window has been modified in TRAX Version 11 and all later releases. Notice that effectivity can be applied to entire fleets and/or individual aircraft all from the same window. The Override button is no longer required to apply individual aircraft effectivity in V11.

P/N CTL Button, via Engineering Control

In TRAX Version 11, this P/N E/C Override button is accessed through the P/N Control button. In previous TRAX versions, this button was located in the Engineering Control, Schedule Tab.
