Exchange Order Out Setup and Configuration

Before creating Exchange Order Outs, administrators must set up the security, authorization, and revision configurations.

• The following Transaction Codes in particular must be set up for the Exchange Order Out process:
  • Options X/O
  • Order Type
  • Order Category
  • Exchange Order Out Type
• The listed switches configure some of the most broad features that affect Exchange Order Out management. For more information, refer to the following switches:
  • XOBOOKTOMAN
  • XOINVAUTH

Note: Other switches that affect Exchange Order Outs will be mentioned throughout this process. For more information on all available switches, refer to the Customer Orders Switches Manual.

• Depending on the user's company's operating procedures, Exchange Order Outs may require authorization. For more information, refer to the Order Authorization Explorer.

Once all of these configurations have been set up, users can begin Creating an Exchange Order Out.
