12.5 - Technical Records Module

A/C Out Of Service Button, via the A/C Controller Panel

Note: When an A/C's Flight Status is placed Out of Service, placed In Service, or any additional changes have been made, a System Notification will be sent as configured. However, a System Notification will not be sent if the A/C's Flight Status changed to Pending. For more information, refer to System Notification via the Settings Module.

A/C Out Of Service, Narrative Tab

Note: When Narratives have been added or removed a System Notification will be sent as configured. For more information, refer to System Notification via the Settings Module.

Defect Report Detail, CDRM Fault Tab

The CDRM (Cabin Defects Reporting Manual) Fault tab allows users to link Defects Reports with CDRM Fault information for specific aircraft types. These CDRM Fault records are related to aircraft cabin areas. CDRM Fault records are created in the CDRM Fault Configuration window of the Settings module.

Defect Report Detail, Defer Tab

MEL Number field: This field supports up to 20 characters.

Override checkbox - The following functionality has been added:

Note: This checkbox is security controlled via Technical Records/ Update/ Defect Report/Defect Report Defer Override. For more information refer to the Security Explorer via the System Administration Training Manual.

Delay Button, via Defect Report Detail General Tab

The following fields have been added to the Delay window:

• Destination
• Interruptions
• Recode ATA Chap/Sec
• Times
• Times Phrases

  Note: This field is part of a customer-specific modification and is therefore not applicable for most users.

Defect Report, Recommendation Tab

When the users selects the Delete button to delete a recommendation, in the Delete Recommendation pop up the system will confirm the item number the user has selected to delete.

When the users selects the Archive button to archive a recommendation, in the Archive Recommendation pop up the system will confirm the item number the user has selected to archive.

Import Button, via A/C Initial Template Load

The following fields have been added to the Import option:

• Z-Log Hrs
• Z-Log Min
• Z-Log Cycles
• Z-Log Days
• Z-Log Date
• Scheduled Date

  Note: Switch ACPNIMPORTDETAIL must be set to Yes and 'ZULU' entered in the Config Other field for the following fields to appear in the template load: Scheduled Date, Z-Log Hrs, Z-Log Min, Z-Log Cycles, Z-Log Days, Z-Log Date.

Hours/Cycles/Days, via Filter/Sort Button, OOS Tab (A/C Controller Panel)

Configurable triggers for traffic lights. The number of hours/cycles/days for an aircraft to be triggered into one of the following status':

• in service
• pending out of service
• out of service
