The Start Work button allows Mechanics to begin performing the necessary work for the Non-Routine Task Card.

This button is security-controlled via Production/ Update/ W/O/ W/O Non Routine Express Start Work Button. For more information refer to the Security Explorer via the System Administration Training Manual.

Notice the following N/R T/C is in Open status.

Select the Start Work button to begin working on the N/R T/C. Once selected, the N/R T/C Status changes to 'In Progress.'

Note: The user starting the work must be signed in via the Employee Sign-On / Sign-Off window. If not signed in, the following prompt appears:
