Import a Stylesheet

TraxDoc/ Update/ TraxDoc Master/ TraxDoc Document, TraxDoc Explorer Tab/ Import File Button

In order to view and print the converted OEM data in TRAX, the required Stylesheet must be imported. To do so, go to the TraxDoc Explorer tab, right-click, select New, then click the Import File but_import file (small) button.

Note: An XSL (eXtensible Stylesheet Language) file is a file that defines how to transform XML to another format. TRAX takes the XML for a Task Card (for example), transforms it using the Stylesheet, and produces a PDF file. In this way, TRAX can have the same data for a Task Card in the XML, yet each customer can vary how their Task Card looks when viewed/printed.

Enter the required Stylesheet then set the File Type to 'STYLESHEET'. Complete the import by selecting the Save but_save_small button.

Once imported, the Stylesheet is listed in the tab.

Note: Users can have a Stylesheet automatically imported as soon as an XML is loaded if TraxDoc switch AUTOXMLXSL is set to YES. If set to no, a Stylesheet will need to be loaded manually (as explained in the above steps).
