The Add to Favorite but_add to favorites button located on the top right hand side of the window tool bar, is designed to add any window in the application to the Favorites panel.

Audit

The Audit but_audit_sm button is a standard button found throughout the system. TRAX displays the PN Master Audit window which allows the user to view changes made to a record. This includes the Date the change was made, by whom the change was made and what the changes are. The tree-like view allows the user to expand and collapse each record per transaction.

Condition Transaction Code

S/O Unit Cost Percent

Value Base On Life Limit: Functions by selecting a P/N Control which will re-evaluate the life limit of the part once the part is returned into Inventory.

P/N Control field: Works in conjunction with the Values Base On Life Limit checkbox. This field allows the user to establish a P/N Control. The Life Limit of the P/N Control will be re-evaluated once the part is returned to Inventory.

Value of Part based on Condition: The Value of Part based on Condition field allows the user to establish a value of a part based on a Condition Transaction Code. Once this Condition is selected during the Order Receiving process of an Exchange Order Out, the Local F/A Amount for Part Number will be re-evaluated based on the Value of Part based on Condition percentage.

Copy/Paste

The TRAX 11 release allows users to copy and paste the query or results section of windows. This allows the user to simply copy, for example, the Purchase Order number and then paste it if searching for the order or upon receiving the part into the system. This is only one option of how this feature can be utilized throughout the system.

Dock and Undock Option

A feature that is available in Version 11 is the ability for the user to 'Undock' a window from TRAX. This method allows the user to place the window anywhere on their desktop or in TRAX by selecting the Undock but_undock button located at the top of the window. The user may have multiple windows open at the same time.

Filter/Sort Option

The Filter/Sort option allows the user to filter and sort through countless records. The Filter/sort option is designed to aid the user in matching the actual search results with the user's needs.

Lock/Unlock Functionality

Throughout TRAX there are built-in features that help prevent data from being duplicated by blocking multiple users from editing/updating the same records at the same time. Windows, data, and procedures that have been set in motion can be locked to other users as a means of protecting the integrity of said records. This functionality helps keep track of components, authorizations, and work floor duties.

Log In Button Sign On Method

The TRAX Version 11 Standard sign on method features a standard orange layout as well as larger icons and fields. The login also features a simple way to log in to the system with or without the use of entering the user name and password information. This option allows the user to login to the system by selecting the 'Enter' key on the keyboard or the Log In but_log in arrow button. TRAX automatically works in the background to validate the user credentials in just a few clicks.

Message Boxes

The TRAX 11 release displays larger enhanced message boxes throughout the system with upgraded icons for user visibility.

Text displayed in RED is a hard warning or error message and will usually display with a Stop sign icon

Text displayed in BLACK is a soft warning and is usually displayed with a single icon or a combination of the following: Information, Question Mark, or Yield sign icons

All of the content within the message box may be be copied and pasted

The Navigation Panel is retractable and may be minimized by selecting Minimize the Navigation Panel but_minimize navigation panel button located on the upper right hand side of the panel.

The Pinned section designates all windows that the user specifies as a 'Favorite' and therefore pins to the Favorites panel. The Recent section on the lower half of the panel specifies all windows the user has recently visited. The Pin and Unpin buttons have been added to the Favorites panel. These allow the user to remove windows from the Favorites panel by selecting the Remove From Favorites but_pin button located to the right of the window. To add windows to your favorites, select the Add To Favorites but_pin2button.

Framework Menu Buttons: The Version 11 Framework Menu Buttons have been modified to display certain options to benefit the immediate needs of the user. The Framework Menu buttons are always available in the screen regardless of where the user is located in the system and the menu is not window specific. The Framework Menu's position can not be moved, shifted, or relocated to any other area in the framework.

Print

The Print option allows the user to quickly print whatever window of information appears in the right hand panel.

Program Settings

In Program Settings, the user is able to specify the number of Recent Prints, Recent Programs and the Startup Queue. All of these options are conveniently located under one tab and are beneficial to the user in specifying the quantity limitation for recent prints and the limitation of recent programs from displaying in the 'Recent' section of the Favorite tab.

Record Lock Functionality

Throughout TRAX there are built-in features that help prevent data from being duplicated by blocking multiple users from editing/updating the same records at the same time. Windows, data, and procedures that have been set in motion can be locked to other users as a means of protecting the integrity of said records. This functionality helps keep track of components, authorizations, and work floor duties.

Record Numbers

The window detail headers in TRAX 11 display the transaction-specific acronym with the transaction number. This feature allows the user to consistently have the number of the record (batch number, order number, W/O number, etc) available and visible at all times.

Theme Color Settings

In the Theme Color Settings, the user can change the color theme throughout the TRAX application to suit your personal needs.

Apply to ALL Option: The Apply to ALL option allows the user to apply their View Settings to all TRAX users.

TraxMobile Sign On Method

Signing into TRAX Mobile is similar to the process for the main TRAX application as they both stem from the same server. From the Log On to TRAX window, users will have the same amount of features as found in the main application. (For more information refer to the System Administration topic Logging Into TRAX.) To access the TRAX Mobile application, the TRAX Mobile checkbox will need to be selected. Once selected users can carry out the same sign on steps they are use to performing.

User Password Settings

In Password Settings, the user is able to change their user, wall password, and their employee PIN all in one convenient window.

View Settings

In View Settings the user can control how the appearance of the windows in the application will appear in a user friendly manner. The user can choose whether the tabs in the windows will appear with 'Text and Images' or whether the tab position will be 'On Top' of the window or 'On Bottom'. Another highly innovative setting is the Row Indicator the user can select to have the current field highlighted by selecting the Current Field Highlight checkbox. These View Settings allow the user to customize how TRAX will respond and display throughout the application in a user-friendly way.

Apply to ALL Option: The Apply to ALL option allows the user to apply their View Settings to all TRAX users.
