IPNCTRLOVERWRITE - Override P/N Master Control

Override P/N Master Control

Set Up:

Note the P/N Controls for the Main P/N:

Note the P/N Control for the Interchangeable P/N:

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, If the Interchangeable P/N has its own P/N Control, during receiving, the Interchangeable P/N will override the P/N Control from the Main P/N. If the Interchangeable P/N does not have a P/N Control of its own, the system will copy the P/N Control from the Main P/N.

Example 1: Interchangeable P/N with P/N Control

A P/N Initial Load transaction is performed for the Interchangeable P/N. The P/N Control for the Interchangeable P/N overrides the P/N Controls for the Main P/N.

Example 2: Interchangeable P/N without P/N Control

From the P/N Initial Load transaction, the system has copied the P/N Controls from the Main P/N.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, if the Interchangeable P/N has its own P/N Control, during receiving, the Interchangeable P/N will combine its own P/N Control with the P/N Control from the Main P/N.

A P/N Initial Load transaction is performed for the Interchangeable P/N. The system loads the P/N Control for the Interchangeable P/N in addition to the P/N Controls for the Main P/N.
