Airline Authorization Button
|
15.1
|
The Airline Authorization functionality is used by a contractor (vendor) to create a Non-Routine Task Card for work that is contracted out to them by a customer. With this functionality, both the customer and vendor (accomplishing the work) have access to TRAX. Once the scope of the work is reviewed by the contractor, the contractor can go ahead and submit a Contractor Authorization Request to the customer outlining any unscheduled task(s) that needs to be completed in addition to the work the customer has outlined against the Vendor Contract. The Vendor Contract contains all of the parameters of the contract including all of the tasks (routine and Non-Routine) as well as the flat rate cap limits the customer has defined against the contract.
Note: The functionality supported by this button is not new in Trax Version 15.The name of the Contractor Authorization Request button has been changed to the Airline Authorization button in Trax Version 15 and all later releases. Subsequently, all corresponding window names have also been updated.

When set to No, the Function field of a Parent E/C and of a Child E/C added to a W/O must be set separately.
Note: In Trax Version 15 and all later releases, the functionality of this switch has been added to the Status All button via the W/O Task Card window.
Note: This switch is not new in TRAX Version 15, however functionality was added to the switch in Version 15.

WOECNORESETCANCELTC
|
|
When set to Yes, when a Task Card is cancelled from a work order, all E/Cs that share that same Task Card will be set to a Do Not Reset status and their One Time Plan EC checkbox in the Engineering Effectiviy Override window will be selected. Also during the Task Card cancellation, the warning message - The following E/C may have been brought into the T/C - will be suppressed. If an E/C does not have or does not share a Task Card, upon work order completion it will be set to a Do Not Reset status and its One Time Plan E/C will be selected. This will happen regardless if the E/C has a schedule or not.
When set to No, when a Task Card is canceled from a work order, all E/Cs that share the same Task Card will not be set to a Do Not Reset status.
