A/C Serial Number - The aircraft serial number.

Delete Button, via Engineering Compliance

15.1

When Settings Switch PNSOFTEC is set to Yes, if a compliance record for a P/N Software E/C is deleted, a number of transactions will occur to roll back the P/N Software Configuration for the A/C. Some transaction include, the E/C Effective Date reverts back to its previous date, the A/C effectivity is added/removed from the applicable P/N Software Configurations, and the P/N Software Authorization Explorer reverts back to showing the original software configuration before the compliance was made.

15.1

E/C To Be Complied With, via Engineering Control, Schedule Control Tab

With the E/C To Be Complied with option, when the Parent E/C is complied with (via W/O Post Completion, Manual Compliance, or through R/I) the Child E/C will also get a compliance record written.

15.1

Engineering Control, Software Tab

The Engineering Control Software tab allows customers to set up multiple From P/N Software/To P/N Software configurations (similar to the P/N Modify To field for P/N E/Cs). Users specify that when compliance to the E/C is carried out (for a specific P/N Software, SLID, and A/C Type/Series) the P/N Software number gets updated with the latest software revision.

Note: Settings Switch PNSOFTEC must be set to Yes for the Software tab to appear.

Import A/C Authorized Software Configuration, via Manufacturer Data Import

15.1

When Settings Switch PNSOFTEC is set to Yes, the system tracks aircraft software using only the P/N Software and SLID; for this reason, only one XML import is required. The customer must identify tags from the manufacturer-provided XML file and populate them in the A/C Type/Series Software tab; these tags will serve as markers during the Manufacturer Data Import, providing the system the key markers needed to correctly populate the P/N Software Configuration window. The XML file must also include the aircraft tail number or registration number (depending on the manufacturer and file provided). When the XML file is imported via the ‘Import A/C Authorized Software Configuration’, the P/N Software number and SLID populates the P/N Software Configuration window; no physical inventory will be created because software is tracked against the aircraft.

Task Card Item, General Tab

15.1

MR Signature checkbox - The MR Signature checkbox allows the user to select Task Card Items that are considered elementary work to have a filled maintenance release signature box on the resulting Task Card Print.

Note: This is a customized request and may not be available to all customers.

Note: This functionality requires both Switch TCVIAREV and Switch REVAUTH to be configured to 'No'. For more information refer to Switch TCVIAREV and Switch REVAUTH via Engineering Switches Manual.

15.1

P/N Software Configuration Button, via Engineering Control, Software Tab

When the P/N Software Configuration button is selected, via the Engineering Control Software tab, a Software Configuration window appears and displays each A/C Type/Series and the Software Location IDs (SLIDs) that are effective to the selected P/N Software Configuration.

Note: Settings Switch PNSOFTEC must be set to Yes for the Software tab and button to appear.
