Task Card Update Only Via Revision

Affected Window: w_task_card_eu

Note: For this switch to have functionality, Switch REVAUTH must be set to Yes.

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will only allow Task Cards to be updated when the Task Card is in revision.

Notice for the following Task Card, all fields are protected and cannot be updated.

Select the Revision CTL button.

The Revision Control window appears. Enter the revision details and select the Save button.

Note: If the Go To Revision Window checkbox is selected, the system to automatically take you to the Task Card Authorization window.

The Task Card is placed in revision; the fields are no longer protected and can be updated.

Note: With this switch set to Yes, the user can still update the Task Card, Location/Site Allowed tab. For additional information, refer to Switch LOCSITEALLOWED.

  Note: When set to Yes, the following fields in the Engineering Control window are editable without requiring a new revision to be created:

- Item button, via Task Card: Man Hours for each Skill on every Task Card Item
- Task Card, Optional 1 tab: Ground Time field and Conflict Task Card field
- Task Card, Location/Site Ban Control Tab
- Task Card, Restrictions Tab
- Task Card, Optional 3 tab: Expenditure Code field

The following functionality of the switch is customer specific and is not available to all operators.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system will allow Task Cards to be updated without having to put the Task Card into revision.

Notice the fields in the following Task Card are not protected and can be updated.
