Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, TRAX will automatically assign the next sequential number from the switch’s Config Number, following the information that populates the switch’s Config Other field to the name of a newly created E/C.

The following E/C has been created. Notice the name matches that of the switch’s Config Other, followed by the switch’s Config Number.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, TRAX will allow the user to create the name of a newly created E/C.

The following E/C has been created. Notice the name does not match neither the switch’s Config Other nor Config Number.

Note: This Switch works in conjunction with Engineering Switch CHOMITEC. When set to Yes, users will not be allowed to enter characters defined by this switch when creating new E/Cs.
