TCEFFECT - A/C Effectivity At Task Card Level

A/C Effectivity At Task Card Level

Affected window: w_task_card_eu

Switch set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will require that the Task Cards have A/C effectivity. The Effectivity button is available in the Task Card window, and a soft warning will appear when a Task Card with no A/C Effectivity is linked to an E/C.

Note: When setting the switch from No to Yes, the system will prompt the user to automatically have all Task Cards assume the A/C effectivity of the E/Cs they are linked to. The system will provide a confirmation "Apply A/C Effectivity from E/Cs to their related Task Cards?" prompt upon changing the switch setting. If No is selected, A/C Effectivity is not automatically applied to the Task Cards.

With the switch set to Yes, the Effectivity button is available in the Task Card window.

Additionally, when a Task Card with no Effectivity is linked to an Engineering Control, a soft warning appears.

The window can be saved after selecting OK to the informational message.

Switch Set to No

When set to No, A/C Effectivity is not required for Task Cards. The Effectivity button is not available in the Task Card window, and a soft warning will not appear when linked a Task Card with no effectivity to an E/C.
