ECEFFTEXT - E/C Effectivity (APPLICABILITY) Code

E/C Effectivity (APPLICABILITY) Code

Affected Window: w_engineering_eu

When 'APPLICABILITY' is entered in the Config Other field, the hypertext function is enabled and displays the information from the APPLICATION field from the Engineering Control, E/C Content tab.

Note: This switch does not function with the Yes/No radio buttons.

Go to Engineering/Update/Engineering Control, E/C Content tab

Note the text in the APPLICABILITY field:

Select the A/C Control button.

Note: The information in the Config Other field must match the ENG/CONTENT Transaction Code:

From the Engineering Effectivity Override window, select the E/C button.

The pop-up window displays the information from the APPLICABILITY field from the Engineering Control, E/C Content tab:

If the Config Other field is null, a note appears informing the user that no ECEFFECT code has been set up:
