Order Invoice Setup and Configuration

Before creating Invoice Orders, administrators must set up the security, authorization, and configurations.

The following is the basic life cycle of an Order Invoice, particularly the setup and configuration:

• The listed switches configure some of the most broad features that affect Order Invoice management. For more information, refer to the following switches:

• The following Transaction Codes in particular must be set up for the Order Invoice process:
  • Invoice Additional Fees
  • Invoice Authorization
  • Invoice Authorization Tolerance
  • Invoice Duty / Freight IFRS Setup
  • Invoice Taxes
  • Link Authorization Group
  • Vat Code

Note: Other switches and transaction codes that affect Order Invoices will be mentioned throughout this process. For more information on all available switches, refer to the Link Switches Manual and/or Link Transaction Codes Manual.

• Depending on the user's company's operating procedures, Order Invoices require an authorization process to be completed. For more information, refer to the Authorization Process for a general overview and the Invoice Authorization Explorer or Invoice Authorization Management for specific details.

Once all of these configurations have been set up, users can begin Order Invoice Creation.
