Allow P/N E/Cs with Position Control to be Available in Receiving

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will allow P/N E/Cs that have Position Controls to be available in the Receiving Inspection and Order Receiving window, and will give users the ability to update the Reset Date of the E/C.

Note: P/N E/Cs with Position Controls will also be available from within the Repair Order Detail window's Control Tab.

The following P/N E/C has a Position Control set up.

During Receiving Inspection, notice the P/N E/C is available and the Reset Date can be updated.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system will not allow P/N E/Cs that have Position Controls to be available inside the Receiving Inspection and Order Receiving window, thus not giving the ability to update the Reset Date of the E/C.

The following P/N E/C has a Position Control set up.

During Receiving Inspection, notice the P/N E/C is not available; therefore, the Reset Date cannot be updated.

Additional Functionality:

Additionally, with the Switch set to Yes, the Inventory Planner will display P/N E/C parts that are not installed and have a N/A Status.

Notice the following P/N S/N E/C has a N/A Status and is not installed on an aircraft.

The Inventory Planner displays the P/N E/C.

With the Switch set to No, the Inventory Planner does not display the P/N E/C.
