Scrapped P/N Serial Numbers cannot be Received
Affected Window: w_ex_receiving_eu
Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, previously scrapped parts cannot be received into inventory.
For example, the following Part Number Serial Number was scrapped.
But this Exchange Order is receiving this scrapped S/N.
From the Exchange Order Detail, S/N tab, notice that the scrapped S/N has been entered.
From the Exchange Order Receiving window, the following warning prevents users from receiving the scrapped P/N S/N.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, previously scrapped parts can be received into inventory. A soft warning will indicate that the part has been scrapped.
When the previously scrapped P/N S/N is entered into the Exchange Order Receiving window, the following soft warning indicates that the part has ben scrapped. Users can continue and receive the P/N S/N by selecting Yes.
The receiving of the scrapped part can be saved.
The scrapped part was received.
