Allow RI Of A Component Which Has Exceeded A Scheduled Time Control

Note: This will be validated during the Receiving Inspection process for all order types: PO, EX, LO, etc.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, the system will not allow the successful Receiving Inspection of a component which has exceeded a scheduled Time Control.

The following P/N is in Inventory awaiting Receiving Inspection. Note the Time Controls.

The P/N Inventory Controls for P/N 0-0034319-0.

Note that Control BT is at 1200 hours.

Note that the remaining Hours are 0. The remaining hours/cycles/days must be 0 or negative for the switch to take effect.

Upon attempting to receive the part, the following hard warning appears informing the user that at least one P/N Control or P/N E/C has reached its scheduled time and must be sent for repair and will become unserviceable. Select 'OK.'

The RI Control automatically goes to 'Rejected.'

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, the system will allow the successful Receiving Inspection of a component which has exceeded a scheduled Time Control.

Upon accepting the P/N in the Receiving Inspection window, the system allows the user to save.
