The NLA Position Swap button allows users to easily swap the positions of two NLAs that are currently in Inventory.

In the Inventory Transaction window, select a batch containing one of the two target NLAs. Then, select the NLA Position Swap button under the Requisition Multi-Button.

The system will display the Inventory Detail NLA Position Swap window, which is divided into two sections: The top section defines the NLA that is part of the selected batch, and the bottom section will point toward the other NLA that it should swap positions with.

IN this example, the following NLA will be used in the Swap:

Note its current position before the Swap, as specified in the Optional Tab of the Batch Detail window.

After populating the fields in the bottom section of the Inventory Detail NLA Position Swap window, select the Save button to initiate the Swap.

A prompt will appear to have the user confirm the Swap. Once 'Yes' is selected, the Swap will occur.

To verify that the Swap was successful, look for a new 'SWAP-POS-NLA' record that should have been added to the Transaction History of the two affected batches.

Note that the NLA that was shown previously is now in a different position. The NLA that was originally at this position has moved to this NLA's original position.
