The Update Transfer Quantity button allows users to edit the quantity of In Transfer parts for an inventoried batch.

For example, notice the following batch has 1 available part and 1 In Transfer part.

Select the Update Transfer Quantity button to change the In Transfer quantity. When selected, the Update Transfer Qty window comes up as follows:

The following information/options are available in this window:

P/N

The Part Number reference for the aircraft part. The Part Number that is having its transfer quantity changed.

S/N

The Serial Number for the specific serialized part. The specific P/N Serial number that is having its transfer quantity changed.

Old Qty Transfer

The original transfer quantity that is going to be updated.

Old Qty Available

The original available quantity that is going to be updated.

New Qty Transfer

The new transfer quantity. This field must be updated manually.

Note: This quantity cannot be greater than the total quantity of parts in the batch. For instance, in the above example, the total quantity cannot be greater than 2.

New Qty Available

The new available quantity.

The Qty Reserved field has been updated, select the Save button.

Once saved, notice that the Available (2) and In Transfer (0) quantities have been updated.

When an In Transfer quantity is updated, the batch's Transaction has the 'UPD/QTY_Transfer listed.

Errors and Warnings:

If 1 or more part is on an open T/O, the system will display the following hard warning.

If the user attempts to update the transfer quantity to a number greater than the amount already in transfer, the system will display the following hard warning.
