Kit Management

A Kit can be put together to identify a group of parts that are utilized together as a single part in the system. This is conducted through creating a principle part of the Kit, and designating which NLK P/N(s), or Next Lower Kit Part, are to be included. From this, the Kit as a whole can be brought into Inventory or built from parts in Inventory, to which the Kit can then be utilized. If necessary, the Kit can later be broken apart, either through the Kit as a whole being broken apart or individual parts being broken apart from the Kit. With individual parts being broken apart from the Kit, it can later be re-built.

The following process flow is a general guide for the configuration, creation, building, and breaking of the Kit Management life cycle. This life cycle may vary depending on each TRAX user and their company's customized protocols.
