RIACCEPTPEND - P/N Controls default to 'Pending' on Acceptance of Receiving Inspection

P/N Controls default to 'Pending' on Acceptance of Receiving Inspection

Affected Window: w_pn_inventory_ri_eu

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, P/N Controls will default to 'Pending' Authorization when accepted through Receiving Inspection.

For example, the following P/N Control was created for a rotable part.

A Purchase Order is then created for the part.

The order is then received.

Notice from the Inventory Transaction window that the order is awaiting Receiving Inspection.

Because the part has not been accepted through Receiving Inspection, the P/N Control remains in 'Authorized' status as seen in the P/N Inventory Control window via the Inventory Transaction Detail, P/N Control button.

The P/O is then Accepted via Receiving Inspection.

Now notice the part is in available via the Inventory Transaction window.

From the P/N Inventory Control window, notice the P/N Control is now in 'Pending' status.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, P/N Controls will remain in 'Authorized' status by default when accepted through Receiving Inspection.

For example, the following P/N Control was created for a rotable part.

A Purchase Order is then created for the part.

The order is then received.

Notice from the Inventory Transaction window that the order is awaiting Receiving Inspection.

The P/N Control is in 'Authorized' status as seen in the P/N Inventory Control window via the Inventory Transaction Detail, P/N Control button.

The P/O is then Accepted via Receiving Inspection.

Now notice the part is in available via the Inventory Transaction window.

From the P/N Inventory Control window, notice the P/N Control remains in 'Authorized' status.
